Highway 23 Coalition is excited to announce the hiring of a Coordinator. The Coalition is very interested in being fiscally responsible for the funding they receive from their members. Thus, the investment of bringing on a Coordinator has been examined very closely. Moving forward with a Coordinator will help the Coalition further their mission of creating a 4-lane Highway 23 corridor.
A Note from A Highway 23 Coalition Board Member
Highway 23 Coalition Coordinator Role
The new Coalition Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with the promotion of the Mission, Vision, Goals and Action Plans of the Coalition. This person will provide support to the Coalition's Standing Committees, including interacting with the Marketing Committee, Legislative Committee, and Priority Projects Committee. An annual members campaign, including communication with renewing and new members will be lead by the Coordinator. This will include maintaining membership lists, preparing correspondence and making phone calls with prospective members and potential presentations to units of government. The Coordinator will attend and participate in Coalition functions, including Annual Meetings, General Members Meetings, monthly Board of Directors meetings, and special events. Following these meetings, the Coordinator will update the Coalition members and backers on the Board's decisions.
