News Release: Advance Screening for Pioneer PBS’s “LANDMARKS: Highway 23” program

On Feb. 20, 2020, Pioneer PBS held an advance screening for their new program “LANDMARKS: Highway 23,” hosted by Doug Ohman, a Minnesota history enthusiast and photographer.

The free event ​was held at at the Pipestone Performing Arts Center at 104 Main St E. in Pipestone, and open to the public. 

Ohman regaled attendees with the stories he had picked up along Highway 23, cutting diagonally across the state from the southwest corner to central Minnesota. 

“LANDMARKS: Highway 23” officially premiered on Pioneer PBS on Sunday, Feb. 23 at 7 p.m. The program was produced and edited by Timothy Hale Bakken, Pioneer PBS’s production director, and funded by Legacy Amendment’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
